umm, 4 men? sound like children to me |
| Cuchulainn | 02 Feb 2013 7:31 p.m. PST |
"Hang 'em" Not before they've been made clear up the mess they created. |
| highlandcatfrog | 02 Feb 2013 7:45 p.m. PST |
Good point. Make them watch every episode of Victory At Sea and World At War, then clean up the mess, then restore the ship to better condition than it was before their mess, then hang 'em. |

Have them paint all of the ships in the park as community service. |

Hmmmm, seems like keel hauling under a nuclear carrier, just back from long-term ops overseas, followed by a good flogging would be appropriate to me. |

Life sentence of maintaining the ship! |

Well, it's easy to judge them from here. But what about their childhood? Who knows who is REALLY to blame for this. Probably society. Just kidding. Repairing the damage and then ten years of community service at the local VA hospital. |

I second the keelhauling, but it should be done on the Stewart herself. She sits on dry land

Rudy there's only the Stewart and a sub. As it's called Seawolf park, I'll go out on a limb and say it's the Seawolf! I hate to admit I haven't been out there since 78
It's really out of the way from I45. |

Actually, the sub is the Cavalla. |

I have a better idea than hanging. First, their sentence is to repair all the damage they did, paid for out of their own pockets. If this requires 'employing' them as parkskeepers, so be it. (employing in quotes because they wouldn't get any money from the work, it would all be consumed by their materials budget) Then, they need to locate all surviving crewmembers or family members of the ship(s) and write letters to apologize. And finally, they get their names and faces published in the paper as 'defacers of a monument', in the same way as those that deface grave markers do. |

Flog 'em round the museum fleet. (By which I mean travel to every museum ship in the country at own expense, doing whatever scut work is directed and desired by the volunteer staff -- borrowing from Lion in the Stars's idea above.) |
