Does any one know where I could find an OOB for the Battle of Franklin, including troops strengths. I want to try and game it in 10mm using both Regimental Fire & Fury and Black Powder (two different games). |

I've found "Five Tragic Hours" by James Lee McDonough and Thomas L.Connelly to be a well worthed purchase . Good maps and good tactical descriptions of this battle. |

Thanks ashauace6970. Mr Extra Crispy, thanks for the link. I actually had already pulled the OOBs from there but I looking for the troop strengths where possible. The confederates had around 222 regiments & batteries compared to around 105 for the union but each fielded around 29,000 men. By having the troop strengths I can more accurately covert it into a game. |

There are actually I number of decent source books and materials out there. MWAN published a Fire and Fury scenario I wrote for Franklin a few years back. I have begun to do more research on specific weapons for the regimental version. For example I know which regiments had repeating rifles but not necessarily the breakdown of the rest. But not there yet. |
