Last post I had some helpful information, I am looking for close up pictures and descriptions of the Block immediately north of Arnhem bridge at the approach and underpass and those buildings also any pictures of the waterfront. I cannot model it correctly if I can't figure out the buildings….Help is appreciated

If you can get hold of the book "Arnhem Spearhead" by something Sims (or Sim), the endpapers have a great sketch view of the north end of the bridge. The author was with Frost. Years ago, I photocopied the material with the idea of modelling it, but alas this never came to pass and the photocopies are long gone or I'd send you them……

B Company Arrived is the only book that you need.

There is a drawing of the whole area north of the Bridge in Ryans a Bridge too Far.

For pictures id recommend getting Arnhem the Airborne Battle by Middlebrook. It has an aerial photograph of the North area of the bridge taken before the war.

Hope that helps.

Gee Mark, why didn't you just buy him an airline ticket to fly there and see it first hand? While you're at it, get me one too! LOL
