It IS the "official" beer of HMGS East conventions, after all!

Besides, Guiness has one.

The US is more than the area covered by HMGS East – nope, we do not.

Sergeant Paper22 Jan 2013 6:50 p.m. PST

Only if we get one for Sierra Nevada Porter – the official drink at Sergeant Paper's house.

Your lack of faith in the power of the darkside is most disturbing. Bring on the Yuengling.

Yes. This is one of the best beers I've ever had and I'm not a Pennsylvanian. Great stuff.

Then I want a Shiner Bock and a Newcastle icons!
I'll even bet Kyotebluerthan blue will support the Shiner

Sergeant Paper26 Jan 2013 10:37 p.m. PST

Bah. Shiner Bock ISN'T Bock, it's Texas horse-filtered Budweiser. No idea why anyone drinks this dreck when there are other, better Texas brews.

Whilst served my stretch at a Texas institution of higher learning I have studied the beers of Texas with professional tasters (my fellow grad students), and Shiner is not worth pouring out of the boot,
