Looking for samples of the following for the period 1796-99:

Austrian Dragoons
French Dragoons & Cavalerie
2nd Polish Legion

I found the 1st Polish Legion, but not the 2nd.

Found very nice example of Napoleon's Guides in Italy in H&C#16

Sounds like you need "Les Drapeaux de la Revolution et de l'Empire", by Ludovic Letrun H&C Hardback. Opps…just noticed it only covers the infantry, but sending this post anyway since it really covers the French of the period the best I have ever seen. (1786- 1815)

It leaves one waiting for the cavalry volume….

Actually, you want Charrie Drapeaux et Etandards… If you don't get an answer by tomorrow evening I'll have a chance to take a look at it. Nothing for the Austrians though.

Duke

'Vexillologie militaire européenne' has some French Cavalry and Dragoon standards for the 1794-1803 period.

Those for 1794 will do the trick I think.

Sorry about not getting back to you. Camcleod's link has the same stuff as described in Charrie and you can print them.
