Frantic day at work so I needed to blow off some steam when I got home – dinner consumed and three hours later I finished the chapel of Corbertiza (Pirate Island's town has a name)

For scale purposes I used Basil the Hamster (no figures to hand)

Basil is aces!
He looks well grumpy.

MrMerkava22 Jan 2013 3:57 p.m. PST

he was a rat, notwithstanding
nice houses, good work

Mako1122 Jan 2013 5:52 p.m. PST

He doesn't look too happy, does he?

Perhaps he's wishing his bed were a bit larger, or came with a nice, soft mattress.

Nice church by the way, but Basil stole the show…..

Very nice … both the church and the small furry creature …

Basil does seem a bit miffed about the entire affair. I know how he feels. I hated being roused from a nice nap to have to go to church. thumbs up

I say, Carstairs, do you smell cedar chips?

richarDISNEY23 Jan 2013 8:23 a.m. PST

Is Basil to scale with the Church? wink

I like the vines going up the sides. Nice touch!

Does Basil come in Finecast? I'll have to introduce him to Mocha, our rat.

"Cap'n, the hamstersaurus seems to be keeping a careful watch on the front door. We'll have to sneak around back. And mind those large brown boulders. They're not what you think."

"Excellent work, Mr. Smee. Now prepare the giant cardboard toilet paper roll."

OOOoooh the hamster-worshipping sect has a church in pirate island! This is heresy!

Is it what the Orthodox Church calls a "Basileus"?

EricThe Shed23 Jan 2013 12:12 p.m. PST

MrMerkava23 Jan 2013 5:56 p.m. PST

he's looks rather like an anti-christ hamster to me

I think Basil should be wearing a sombrero, that would make the whole thing more realistic. Lovely church.
