Anyone else play these rules (by the designers of Imetus)? I had a pretty good game over the weekend trying the new 1.5 version out. Battle Report on YouTube Pretty good over-all. Just curious what others have to say about them, perhaps compared to other rules like BAB and such. |

I've bought the rules with the intent to use them
. But between painting the minis I plan to use going slower than planned, and my recent side track into the X-Wing mini game, I have not used the rules yet. I have read the rules through, and like most of the concepts. I really like the component angle for adding period flair. I worry about action points bogging the game down though
. But between the three different rulesets I have bought and read, I think the upsides to this ruleset outweigh the negatives more than the other two. |

Does it involve cards? I don't like rules using cards

no. No cards Armchair. Card FREE! Once you get the hang of the system, game play moves along pretty quickly actually. It has some good ideas
has a few issues here and there, but that is mostly due to it still being an 'early' version of the rules (although it's in 1.5, and has been around a bit). To me, I think it's worth the effort. SO far I have been talking with the designer, and he is fully behind feedback from players. So it has a lot of potential. |
