Updates from the front for our week-long campaign and we're now on Day Three of the tabletop battles. link The opening battles around Elsenborn saw the US rescue their threatened artillery parks, but lost the better part of two Infantry Divisions. The Eupen road stayed firmly shut to the Germans. Houffalize did not fall but was masked and the roads to Bastogne seized. An attempt to seize Malmedy on the march was rebuffed. |

Fascinating stuff, I love gigantic games like these. Dom's games accounts in Wargames Illustrated remain some of my favorite articles ever. Let us know how it all turns out, Phil. |
