Irrational Number Line Games Will be running an ancients game, 2013 B.C, at the Williamsburg Muster at 8:00 am on Saturday, Feb 2nd.

This will be a king-of-the hill game where different bands of combatants from the early Bronze Age try to take control of the city of Nairi, a key trading route port on Lake Van. The game will use INLGames' free Quick Intermediate Level Skirmish rules, some units from the Heroes of Urartu supplement (not the Hittites, as the ones in HoU patently late Bronze Age), and a few surprises

The above golden calf will be awarded to the player who can control the city (occupy and hold 2 of 3 key city locations) for the largest number of turns. We have a couple other prizes to hand out based on whatever moves us to do so during the game.

Figures, dice, rulers, and instructions will be provided. This is a walk-up and beginner friendly scenario.

If we get a little punchy during the game … who knows what might show up..?

Ooooh no way. Last time we got suckered into a golden calf it was forty more years of wandering around in the desert. Fool me once!

Ah, yes, but it was a swell party while it lasted, now, wasn't it? :)
