Hi all, I am trying to find out if anyone knows where I can find a 1/48 scale decals for the "91st Bomb Group" B-17G the "Chow Hound"? I think I read somewhere that this particular decal came with a model(Revell?)at one time. Any help would be appreciated. Just for kicks and giggles, I just found out today that the 91st BG trained in my home town of Walla Walla, Wa where I grew up. Amazing what you don't know where you lived. |

I'd suggest trying Google images, and typing in 1/48, 91st, B-17G, and "Chow Hound". That'll probably be the best way to find it. If that doesn't work, try a regular Google search, with the same info, instead. Yea, I was reading up on the P-61 last night, and was surprised to see some were being assembled/tested right in my local city as well. |

Thanks. I have found other ones that way, but haven't had any luck with "Chow Hound (Chowhound)". I see it on planes in google images, so I know it exists, but can't seem to find it on any normal decal site (Kit World) etc. Jon |

link You may need to buy the Revell kit. Aftermarket decal makers usually do not replicate kit schemes. You could always check with an aircraft modelling site to see if anyone would part with their kit decals. |

Thanks. That is what I am finding out. I did find a picture of the decal sheet, but like you mentioned, it's in the #5600 Monogram kit. Jon |

Click on the pics, and then use that to go to the home website (see top right-hand notes for the image, where it is being hosted from). I imagine someone will mention which company produces it, if you don't actually get sent to the retailers, or actual manufacturer themselves. |

HI, Providing an update. I contacted Revell and they do have the decal set. Great except surprisingly I just received my B-17G I had ordered (no part #), and it was in fact #5600 with the "Chow Hound" decal set included. Thanks all Jon |
