I would like to use this battle for a Napoleonic wargame scenario, but can not find a order of battle online. Does anyone have any idea where one can be located online? |

If not, you can hit the Nafziger collection here: cgsc.edu/carl/nafziger.asp The document that'll fill in the French OOB with more detail over the first PDF I linked is here: PDF link This should fill in the Army of Silesia: PDF link |

Meiczyslaw I have seen this before but not sure how what the numbers mean for each division leaders? If you could explain this that would be helpful. Thanks to everyone for the help! |

I'm not sure, actually. It's part of the reason I pointed you to the Nafziger. While it doesn't contain a Brieene-specific OOB, it does contain the units just prior to the battle. (Though it looks like I pointed you to the wrong French one. I think this one is better: PDF link ) So I'd go with the scenario for the org chart, and fill in the gaps from Nafziger. They won't be in the same place — for example, Decouz reports to Ney in the scenario, but he's part of Mortier's corps in Nafziger. This isn't surprising — 1814 was apparently filled with ad hoc assignments on the part of the French. |

V&B notation: each strength point (open bracket to right of unit) usually represents ~ 500 troops or 6 guns. The brackets to the right of divisional commanders represent how many hits the division can take before becoming exhausted, normally about 50% of strength points in division. Exhausted divisions can no longer attack and have other penalties. If you are using other rules ignore the exhaustion numbers. |
