Hi all

We played out an engagement between the RAF and the Regia Aeronautica, somewhere over the Med this week…

I'm sorry but I don't understand your banter.

Looks and sounds like great fun to me.

Thanks for sharing your report, and pics.

Now, I'll be needing some CR.42s……

It was certainly a fun game, considering nothing was shot down!

The Tumbling Dice minis are excellent! The wings go on perfectly, however the undercarriages are a little tricky, due to the small size of them and my fat fingers. Throw in superglue, somethings going go wrong! Cheap as chips so its a very affordable little game to get into very quickly

Looks a great game. All my planes are British and German so nice to see some different varieties. I must get some Italians.

Thanks

Craig

Nice game – good to see some Italians in the air! The Italians are very under-used for WWII

I think andygamer was being ironic and making a cultural reference to a Monty Python sketch ("cabbage crates coming over the briny" etc).

Anyway, a good report and thanks very much for posting it as the Med is my favourite theatre for BtH. I have adapted TFL's "Finest Hour" supplement for a Malta campaign (it seems to work pretty well) and am now in the process of expanding my forces for Malta to include North Africa. Chris Stoesen has produced an excellent campaign supplement covering Battleaxe to second Alamein and I can't wait to give it a try.

Nicely done, I really must drag out my BtH stuff again. So many games, so little time.

Damn…. how can I call myself a proper geek if I missed the Monty Python reference!! grin

Steady, old chap! One has to keep a stiff upper lip, what?
