Anyone else notice that FGU is cranking out new Villains & Vigilantes stuff like mad lately? There's a bunch of bundled reprints as well, and some stuff for Aftermath and the Daredevils pulp RPG, but most of it's V&V, including a book of solo adventures:

Nice to see them going strong again – they've been pretty much in torpor a long time.

Ah, poking around further I see they're even offering pdf versions of some old classics, including Bunnies & Burrows and Royal Armies of the Hyborian Age:

Pretty cool indeed.

Thanks – will pick up Royal Armies. They have an odd mix of hardcopies still available too – would have prefered Down Styphon! as a pdf too, but will go for paper.

May I suggest that anyone with $3 USD burning a hole in their pocket should pick up a copy of FGU's Citadel. Great little "dungeon exploring" game.

This is cool. Thanks for posting about it.

You can thank mrwigglesworth – his Tunnels & Trolls thread got me to thinking about games I haven't played in years, and that got me noodling around FGU's site. Used to love Bushido and V&V and Space Opera and Daredevils.

Sadly, neither Metagaming nor SPI have magically returned from the dead, but at least FGU is up and moving again. :)

Played many a game of Citadel. I'm sure time has been kinder to the past than my memory deserves. Best game you can fit in a manilla envelope.

Still waiting for them to re release Bunnies and Burrows

Ooh I just noticed the second link…wonderful

Anybody do bunny rabbits in 25mm?

Chef Lackey Rich Fezian08 Jan 2013 7:13 a.m. PST

They'd be kind of small in 28mm, don't you think? MegaMinis has some rather cartoony giant rabbits in a pack that might be useful, even if they are way off from scale. Reaper makes a magician doing the rabbit in a hat trick, and I think a familiar as well, but I doubt either of those would be much help.

Although a B&B campaign supplement where all the rabbits are domesticated might be interesting. Magician's props, pet bunnies, escaped lab testing victims, etc. :)

Still got my copy of Privateers and Gentlemen: A cracking game (with good naval wargames rules included).

Ever since Jeff Dee and Jack Herman started up Monkey House Games and have claimed ownership of V&V FGU has significantly increased their production. I don't know how the legal battles will resolve, but it's good for consumers as both companies are putting out product.
