Former Marine, did some contract work on the intel side, now I work for the Gub-mint. I'm 100% with the guy who'd like to be an eccentric millionaire that plays with toy soldiers. Then I'd let folks see pics of my toys on TMP, because I would have paid someone else to paint them and they'd be beautiful!

Used to be an AutoCAD tool designer, but I have been out of that field for so long, I may as well apply for a Fortran IV specialist. Well, not really. I got a D in that course back in 1970.

So now, I sell "alternate sources of electrical energy" door to door.
Comcast is in the past. I am thinking of getting DirecTV instead. My son in Kuwait gives me his blessings on that, but he cautions me about the rotted beam on the front porch.

I am studying hard to change me career to "Retired Power-ball Winner", but the tests are very difficult.

Great Topic!

I'm a veteran high school art teacher. I teach ceramics, sculpture and jewelry, so I bring in in-progress sculpts and 3D prints so kids can have connections to the real world (and I can show off!)

I sculpt and run Hydra Miniatures in my ever diminishing free time. I like sculpting and selling toys, but my passion is for teaching!

When I was a kid, asked what I wanted to be. I answered a soldier.

Spent 6 years in the USMC, 18 years as a soldier.

Now, retired. Father of 2 daughters. Busier now than ever. Keeping the boys away. Fixing to be a Grandpa to a Granddaughter. Teaching the Son in law what that means.

Retired, did I say. I'm as busy as ever. What with hunting, fishing, etc. I do get lots more time for painting. Just wish I hit the lottery, so I could put others to work.
