I like it. Has that shattered forest look from the photos.

Thanks Oddball, that's what I was going for, I'm glad you think I've achieved it!

You have captured the gauntness of the western front battlefield.. this should be in a show game. do say you will put on a square bashing game at a show??

Martin

Thanks Martin! You really think so? It could be a possibility at some point, but I always think the stuff at shows is way way way better than anything I could produce! and my opponent makes even better terrain than I do. When I see his stuff, I just want to bin all mine! :)

What a beautiful piece of terrain – very gaunt, stark, and shattered looking. Great work, sir!

Shawn.

Thanks Shawn! Glad you liked it!

I like that a lot and you have given me a great idea.

Very nice.

The piece looks great! Do you find the tile to be difficult to store?

What show are you nearest too. we can team up??

Martin

Thanks guys, your comments mean a lot!

VicCina, yes this is pretty tough to store, but it goes in a high sided plastic storage box for safe keeping!

Martin, I have PMed you.

Nice job. An easier to store option is just to make shattered trees – I did a load from hedge clippings stuck onto pennies.

Any sort of 'wood' which consists of shell craters and shattered tree stumps looks fairly horrifying.

My WW1 buldings are mostly piles of rubble too.

Thanks Martin, that's a good idea and probably something I will probably do in the future, this was a kind of learning proccess. My village for Square bashing is just a few small walls and lots of rubble:

You could even store the extra trees in your tree piece storage box!

Abwehrschlacht09 Jan 2013 10:57 a.m. PST

Would that be like a tree piece suite?
