I'm looking for some GW autoguns. These used to be available on weapon sprues, but in their infinite wisdom GW seem to have made buying components impossible :( I am only after the ones that look like this: link If anyone knows a source (not sculpted onto arms like the FW renegade), or has any themselves they would part with, please let me know! |

Not a direct answer to your question, I regret. Would this set of weapons from Pig Iron productions match your need? link |

They used to be included in one of the metal sprues of extra weapons for Necromunda. Yet another wonderful item from GW, now sadly unavailable. I just checked, and I used up my only one a couple years ago on a conversion. |

The Chaos Cultists from the Dark Vengeance box set have those style guns. If you can find someone who's looking to convert their cultists, you might be lucky. |

The Necromunda sprues are like hen's teeth, and tend to go for prices that make one think they're cast in gold, not pewter, when they appear on eBay. The Dark Vengeance set has 10 cultists with autoguns, but a possible problem is that the hands and arms are all molded on. Being plastic, though, this isn't that big of a deal if you're willing to do some cutting and filing, maybe a bit of putty work. I would also suggest looking into some third-party conversion bit makers – This: link is kinda close – they've both got drum-mags, the the bottom one is obviously supposed to be a Tommy-gun, but the top one is pretty close. You may also want to consider conversion. Take bolter mags and muzzles, add them to lasguns, and you're getting closer. (And yeah, those Necro sprues should have remained in production forever – especially the pistols with hands. They're the best for conversion, period.) |

Have you seen these from Hasslefree? link |

The Dark Vengeance set has 10 cultists with autoguns Isn't it actually only 8 cultists with autoguns, plus heavy stubber and champion with shotgun? |

I know they aren't perfect but how about these: link |

Thanks for the link Captain Hat I think the shotguns in the armoury section might just do for some Imperial Warzone conversions I'm looking at doing. |

Good point, Griefbringer. I'd not taken the heavies into account. |

I can second the suggestion on the Widowmaker from Anvil. It's a fine piece. Casting quality is damn near perfect from them too. I didn't have to do even a bit of prep work on them aside from removing the stick mags and replacing them with the larger box mags. Also suggest these from Chapterhouse link I have them as well. They're intended for Guardsmen while the Anvil widow makers and other weapons are designed more for marines. Both will fit Guardsmen, but the chapterhouse pieces look a little better in smaller hands. |

Oh wow, those Anvil Industries parts are just the ticket – thank you :) To later readers and responders – I should have been clearer. I'm currently converting a lump of the new cultists, and part of that has been turning the hand weapon guys into full-on autorifle guys. hence needing more autorifles as my few sprues of the old Necromunda stuff (thank God for a 28mm =][= phase back in the day) have already run out. |

Chaos Marauders and IG catachans mix well together to make additional cultists, so a local found. It wouldn't hurt to have some lasguns mixed in. Same stats for the two weapons and I'd imagine cultists would get a hold of them during an insurgency. still wondering when we get a real cultist kit instead a 5 man stop gap measure. |
