I would assume the presence of lots of US forces next door is keeping 'overly adventurous' types at home
But I would be in for a platoon+ of both Indian and Pakistani troops. |

These sorts of things happen all the time in the border region. It's not really newsworthy other than the fact that such skirmishes have diminished lately, due to a full court press effort on both sides to cool things down after the Mumbai terrorist attack, which basically happened with Pakistani secret service consent. If they had not tried very hard to cool things down, it could well have gone in the opposite direction. |
