Hi everyone. Bit of an introduction first before the shameless plug for my new blog. I've been a gamer, at least in theory, for just over 25 years but I've lapsed a bit over the past 15 years due to work, family and all the usual things real life throws at you. I may not have been active but I've kept an interest. This year is hopefully the year I get back into gaming. To help motivate me I've started a blog, focusing on 15mm Sci-Fi and Fantasy solo gaming though I do tend to wander into other scales and periods from time to time. You can view it at sologamer.co.uk if it interests you. Cheers Thomas |

Cool. All the best, keep us updated. Although I started with 6mm tanks my heart belongs to sci-fi. 6mm sci-fi not an option?

Michael, Never say never! I have LOADS of 6mm Sci-Fi I bought in the late 90's sitting in storage. One idea I have had is using Tomorrows War for 6mm and 5150 for 15mm. I've been following your posts on here, great work. Thomas |

A few people talk about Traveller and Tomorrows War in 6mm. I have a feeling I am missing out on something

Michael, I haven't had a chance to give it a go yet but Tomorrows War looks very promising. There are plenty of AARs both in the TMP forums and on the Web. The official forum is also a good read. It's not that expensive, you can pick up a copy straight from the publisher as a PDF for $25 USD (about £15.00 GBP in our money) or you can get the hardback from Amazon for £16GBP. I plan to do a review of it at some point. |

I managed to get a copy of TW given and it is a very nice set of rules, i would recommend the hard back version mainly because the art work and layout do justify having a 'proper' book not just a PDF or printed copy. Nice blog (early days i know) |

Solo gaming is fun; 5150 and TW are great sets of rules, and 15mm and 6mm is where its at. So I'll definitely keep an eye on this blog! |
