I make my OWN 'bug-eyes' for my figures, using 'drop-layers' of clear fingernail polish
.with a colored background to start with and then a drop of polish
let dry and then put a slit-eye in black
let dry and then put another layer
(or two
with drying time), over THAT
makes great 'froggy-looking' eyes! I 'discovered' this when painting up my TITANIAN prototypes and have used it for other cephalopods etc since! |
