I noticed today that I couldn't upload photos from my hard drive to my blog but had to use the Picasa web thingy, a URL or a web camera / phone. This is a pain in the arse. Is it just me or has blogger changed it's system for some inexplicable reason? |

I just tested it out on my Blogger blog and the upload option was still there and working. |

Nope
I've had the same problem this evening. Had to switch photos from the folder I was using for blog updates to a Picasa album for the same purpose which was a bit of a pain in the arse to be honest [mainly because my laptops on its last legs and everything takes much longer than it should!] I've only noticed it in the last few days so I'm guessing it was a change made over xmas or so?? |

It's been awful ever since they introduced the new version, prone to freeze and difficult to edit photos too! Not broke? Don't fix it then! They never learn! |

You have a maximum of 1 GB allowance on photo uploads. Blogger stores photos in Pi casa web. Once this limit is reached you cannot upload anymore without paying for extra storage. There are several options store photos somewhere else like photo bucket; delete some of your old photos from Picasa. I believe any photo 800 pixels or smaller doesn't count towards your 1gb limit on blogger so resize all photos to 800 pixels or less. |

I had the same issue. Seems that there are problems with the browser. I switched to Firefox and all was good. Greg |

This still isn't fixed but according to Google it's a problem with IE if I go through google chrome I don't have a problem. |
