Somewhere on-line I saw a paper kit for a gas station. Modernish – '70s or '80s era I'd saw. I could swear it had a green canopy over the pumps. Can't find it for the life of me, though I'm sure I kept the link in my favorites. Any one have any idea where I might be able to find it? It may have even been on Wargame Vault, but I can't find it there either.

Might be Worldworks:

I'm pretty sure this has a green version

28mm-ish. I have the older version, it works fine next to 28mm moderns and Heroclix figures.

Sounds very much like the WorldWorks kit.

There are 2 versions of this kit: the current one is in the catalogue link given by Mr Pumblechook above and has 3 colour options.

The older one (pre-TLX, in WorldWorks terms) is no longer available, I think. It had 2 different options for livery; you can see occasional pictures of the green version in some of the ATZ battle reports on my blog. For example, it's in the front right of the first image here: link

Sorry, most things on-line are for 28s. Doesn't matter, I can resize it.

Yup, the WorldWorks one looks like it. Don't know why I was thinking green unless I saw a pic of it in use somewhere. Thanks!

In that World Works Games model, an option for the awning is a green one.
