I'm looking to expand my Hungarian figures, mostly for FoW but also any of the assorted other games we play at the club that use figures based that way.

Im aware of Old Glory UK, Battlefront and QRF as carrying Hungarian WWII figures and vehicles in the UK – but does anyone have any other UK based recommendations (or strong options that make it worth the time and expense to import from elsewhere).

Im mostly looking at grabbing some Zyrinyi IIs in the first instance, OGUK does not have an image for theirs – anyone care to comment/know a link on that model please?

Thanks all
Tim

WW-1 Minifig Germans have been used…

before you click link there's two caveats…

1) I'm pretty sure old glory UK Hungarians are the old true north line

2)please excuse the horrible paint jobs:( I'm awful when it comes to camouflage and need to redo these.

The Zyrini 2 with the commander is true north the one without is QRF… the QRF has a slightly higher profile (still pretty low for a SPG) a bigger gun, and more detailing…I like both models though.

also first time posting link…crosses fingers

It worked…let me know if you need any other pics, I have a collection of QRF, True North, and Battlefront Hungarians so may be able to help you out more.

Thanks for the images, just what I needed – to me it looks like QRF is for me then for Zyrinyis. On a side note do they sit OK next to Battlefront Hungarians as thats what most of my figures are at the moment – I have Csabas and Toldis from them…

Now onto comparing Turans if anyone can help with that(Im trying to stick to mostly Hungarian equipment – too many German players at the club).

Cheers all!
Tim

The zyrinis should fit well with battlefront miniatures….a battlefront infantryman is about the same height as the spg, but wiki has the height of a zyrini 2 as 2.33 meters so its pretty close to scale…the zryini just has a really low profile. Sorry can't help with the Turan, the only light tanks i have are Toldi's.
