So, as part of my renewal for 2013 I've cleared out a good portion of the basement. I found a barely remembered purchase from around 2001/2002 of Warmaster figures. A big box of them. All in original blisters. It appears to be basically an army of Empire and an army of Orcs. Does anyone still play this game? Would it even sell? Is it better to part it out or just put a generous offer on each army separately? |

there is always a market. Maybe not at a profit, but someone will take them off your hands |

Good point, though I've put other stuff up for sale dirt cheap with no takers so its not always true. I see some Warmaster stuff is for sale on Ebay so I assume some folks are interested in it. |

I sold all of mine off on ebay, so that is where I would start. |

Ebay them. They will sell for good money. Starter boxes usually go for $50. USD |

I had some siege towers in boxes for them and they went for stupid money on ebay |

Make sure to check if you have any out of production units. Those can go for quite a bit. Here is a list of them. link |

I'd check w/ the specialist games forum (linked above) first. The original box sets are pretty much 5 blister packs and a character mini. GW still sells those blister packs, but oddly they go for more than retail sometimes on ebay. The first four armies (Elves, Undead, Orcs/Goblins, Empire) tend to go for much less than the later armies, because that's how many boxes were released in time for the game to be cancelled. Limited edition / OOP minis go for a LOT, depending on the mini. Discontinued lines like Kislev go for a lot as well. Note that even Empire and O&G have discontinued minis in them, and so those one or two blisters might go for as much as the whole army sold together. If you're interested, you can PM me, but I'd still go to the specialist game forum to see what kind of price you can get. |
