Anybody had bought this books? link The draws of Jason and
looks great
but if you had bought the book, it's more for childrens tales or useful for wargaming? Thanks in advance for your guidance. Amicalement Armand |

I like on the Osprey link how Jason wears a an archaic helmet and bell cuirass instead of the usual Classical panoply. The heroic myths date from the Bronze Age so it is cool to see them in Homeric gear. |

I think they might be going for the history behind the tale
or at least
framing the tale with a historically "correct" backdrop. Could be worth a read. |

Well I'll say this. The Arthur book is written by a Daniel Mersey. If this is the same guy then it should be quite good. He wrote both The Glutter of Ravens and Dux Bellorum rules sets. He knows his stuff and he's a good writer. If the other books have similar writers then this should be a rip-snorting good series! Great catch good doctor! I didn't even know about these books. |
