Based on what I have seen in other blogs, I have begun working, along with my sons, on scratch building our own fleets set in the pre-dreadnought era. While not completely historical in nature, it is very inexpensive, a great time to spend with my lads, and a heck of a lot of fun. My first post on our activities is here link with much more to follow. Basically, we are turning these
into these.
We're starting with destroyers, working our way up to modern pre-dreadnoughts. |

If it's fun and has you hanging out with the boys, it's all good. I think it's a great ideaand they look great so far. Can't wait to see the capital ships. DM |
