Hi Blue Max a very nice vignette and creative with the spent cannon ball. you could also try adding some small rocks. I use ballast that is for train models .I colour it how to match the base i'm using and then sprinkle on and secured with the paint of the base. you could also try leaving some patches without grass showing the earth beneath. I do love the lawn they are standing on its better than my garden..:0) |

It true that I have to improve my bases, thanks for the advice ;) I also think the skin of these Austrians is a bit to dark. |
