Hi folks,

more or less the last big posting in 2012… I recently was approached to sell my Warzone forces.
I gave in and sold my Capitol army, but it brought back some nice memories since I always loved Warzone. A real nice game that was IMO way superior to that 40K edition of that time.
Anyway, I decided to take some pics of my two armies and here they are…
(Be kind, I painted these years and years ago!)

Capitol

Free Marines

Martian Banshees

Desert Scorpions

Inquisition

Mishima

Crimson Devil

Ronin Samurai

Tiger Dragon

Hatamoto

Dragon Bike

Combat Warhead

Suicide Warhead

Ashigaru

Great Brushwork on some real classic figures, and the stuff you linked to is equally nice. Thanks for posting this!

Great looking miniatures Agis, what edition did you play?

My sons and I play the 1st M.C. Warzone (Bill King) and still do, some of the miniatures are questionable but the game is SOUND and by far better that 40K.

Those are freakin fantastic. Great painting.

Thanks again folks,

@Warlord: I played 1st edition and loved the game.
In fact many design elements "ribbed" off to my Victory Decision game system.
;)

2nd edition WZ never really took off here and for me it was just a step in the wrong direction.

I played first edition and we played all night. A lot of fun.

I love your Martian banshees.

And its god to see those miniatures well painted. They deserve it (well some of them at last :)

Delthos30 Dec 2012 7:50 a.m. PST

Wow! You've managed to make the Warzone figs look good. Great work.

Lovely work!

I personally liked 1st but loved 2nd; That didn't mean that I didn't continue to field that great 1st ed. stuff either way. These are all still some of my favorite miniatures.
