It took a little longer than I wanted but my order of Old West kits from Sarissa-Precision finally arrived on my doorstep. Hurricane Sandy ate the first package and the holidays delayed the second one. Sarissa really stepped up to help me out on this order though and I'm very happy with them. I ordered three kits and I started off with the small building figuring it would be the easiest. They use a 2mm MDF that's a bit fragile for the trim pieces so some care and a sharp knife are required. I really like the slimmer look the 2mm material gives especially compared to the chunkier look of the Gamecraft and Knuckleduster buildings because of the thicker material that they use. The build was quick and easy and I think it built up into a nice little building. Its a bit narrow which I prefer and the roof is at a steeper pitch so it stands out nicely from the others. The streets of Calamity continue to grow! If you want to see the in progress and comparison shots to other brands you can find them on my blog at: link
