Will the Elheim late '60s ARVN figures serve as proxies for U.S. Army troops? I'd like to use Elheim for most of the figures for my Vietnam war project, but their range seems very limited.

For the most part, but the eyes and noses are different.

They're also smaller in stature – but IMO that's not a bad thing. I wish figure heights weren't so uniform. I wasn't the only sawed off little SOB in my unit, that's for sure. ;)

Try RAFM, Platoon 20, Wartime miniatures and Underfire miniatures. Platoon 20 and RAFRM have extensive 20mm lines including USMC and Us Army
