I'm building some scenarios around the "Bone Wars"--a series of paleontological digs in the Old West between rival scientists that led to several significant dinosaur discoveries. link

What I'm looking for is something like the Pegasus gold miners plastics set but in 25/28 scale. link The figures need to be mining/prospecting rather than gunfighting, given I know where to find plenty of the latter.

Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

Old Glory has one leading a mule in their Figure of the Month range.

They might still sell it seperately as well.

Add some Railroad type workers and some VSF Professor types and you should be good.

A real interesting phase in American Science

Double W,

Contact me at jmcp1650 at comcast dot net. I have the prospector and mule that komradebob posted. I'll probably never get the pair painted so I'll be willing to let him go for a reasonable amount.

I believe Knuckleduster have them in their prospector sets

ColCampbell,

Thanks for the offer but I already have a mule and prospector type. I was looking more for workers to fill out a camp. Looks like tiger miniatures might be my best bet at the moment.

Saber6: it was a very interesting time for American science, when field work in the west could be a real adventure. Of course, my games are going to be a little more violent than the real thing.

Brigade Games has a number of laborers. Their "Western Railroad Workers," "Chinese Laundry," and "Western Characters I" all offer a variety of unarmed workers in various occupations.
