Any info on what will be out firs? Chaos, Orks, Dark Angels?

Garand23 Dec 2012 6:16 p.m. PST

Dark Angels will be out in Jan. Likely Daemons month after that. Further on the horizon is the possibility of Tau in the Spring, and Eldar in the Fall. BTW, Chaos Space Marines dropped a couple months ago.

Damon.

Can't wait for my waifish alien Tau and Craftworld Eldar to finally get updated.

Me too. I have around 8000pts of Eldar, and need an excuse to use most of them.

But with a new codex coming out, doesn't that mean you won't be able to use half of them? evil grin

nvdoyle23 Dec 2012 11:28 p.m. PST

Mmm, new Tau. Almost time to start collecting again.

BaldLea24 Dec 2012 12:39 a.m. PST

Squats in February.

Squats are in 6th Edition.

No, seriously:

p. 405, the Dark Millennium appendix:

"….Squats (homo sapiens rotundus)…comprise the remaining, and officially classified, abhuman races."

There are, in the full quote, several more mentioned; Ratlings, Beastmen, Troths, Longshanks, Pelagers, Felinids and Neandors.

With the exception of some special characters, nothing in the Eldar codex has been "obsoleted" since 3rd edition.

Did the last Chaos book have rules for Chaos Cultists?

My book is the older one.

U.K.

matgc8325 Dec 2012 10:33 a.m. PST

Uesugi,

The latest codex have Cultists, yes. Also, they are included on the Dark Vengeance box. New sculpts!

They look great!

The new Chaos Codex is pretty cool. I have it. It didn't go "Undivided." There are so many rules you can take to help fit a themed army.

Can't wait for new tau though…. the rumor mill has been pretty consistent about a "Dreadknight sized mech."

I caved & picked up the new(est) Chaos Codex.

The new Finecast(TM) Squats(TM) are going to unstoppable!
