does anyone know if there are rules for modern, or sci fi or WWII that uses the one roll engine? |

I'm only aware of Godlike that uses the ORE and that's WWII. There might be a modern hack for the game but I don't know about it. |

I'm guessing you could use Unknown Armies for some modern stuff
non-military, crime, espionage
ditch all the horror and magic and secret societies
dump most of it. I don't know of any 'straight' version of ORE. |

This explains it: link The dice mechanic is cute n' fun but I find it a bit too 'gamey' for my tastes. It was all the rage on RPGNet a few years back
the game that was the answer to every 'what system?' question
but they've since moved on to new fads and trends. Godlike and Wild Talents
and Reign are interesting settings. |
