I'm getting more and more tempted with Artizan, I think I should try and get a few more figures done before I invest in any more! |

I'm getting more and more tempted with Artizan Do it, bracken. You know you want to. I like Artizan even more than my Warlord/Bolt Action figures, and I have both since they mix together well. And I'm one of those who are VERY picky when it comes to mixing figures from different manufacturers. |

I agree with 28mm Fanatik go for it bracken take the plunge you wont regret it. Artizan Warlord?bolt action all mix together without an problems. |

28mmfanatik and paxx88, once Christmas is out the way, I will have to dip my toe into Artizan. The style looks close enough, the scale thing bothered me abit but there seemed to be a debate on how well they mixed. I must admit I'm also OCD about size! But I think its a goer, but if anyone has side by side photos I would be interested in seeing them. Cheers Russ |

You got it. Artizan at left, BAM/Warlord at right. Both front and back side-by-sides posted. All figures are metal (28mm Fanatik just doesn't do plastic). Generally, Artizan figures' faces aren't as 'expressive' as BAM/Warlord's. But they're both cool. Please note that the BAM/Warlord figures are the more recent Separate Head System Waffen SS releases (painted as regular Heer/Wehrmacht) and not the early sculpts by Paul Hicks many years ago, which I find to be incompatible with the Artizan figures because they're not bulky enough. Other than late war Germans, I also mix Artizan's and BAM/Warlord's American Paratroopers. However, I don't mix Artizan and BAM/Warlord Fallschirmjagers because (again) I find the latter to be not bulky enough to mix with the former. Infantry Shooting:
Infantry advancing or in Static Pose:
NCO's with MP40 pointing (He did it, mom! No he did it!):
Officers wearing peaked caps and long coats:
