Misleading statement about the Ion Cannon – that isn't turreted, which is why it's vastly inferior (and 2 points cheaper) to the Y-Wing's version.

Nice post – thanks for putting up some clearer images of the cards (the ones I've seen so far were pretty dark).

Some answers for the questions on your post:

-Assault Missile damage is Automatic to other ships within Range 1, IF the original target is hit (one un-cancelled damage or critical damage result remains).

-Stealth Device goes away after the first time you are hit (one un-cancelled damage or critical damage result remains)- this includes shield hits, but you do get to roll the defense dice to cancel results first (Slave-1 would roll 3 Defense Dice until it took a shield or hull hit, then it would roll 2).

Thanks for the post. I am not that intersted in Slave 1 as there are not many calls for it in the Saga. I might not even buy it unless the boys want to play it.

Note the implications for people accustomed to flying in tight formations, especially anyone operating close to a "sitting duck" target like a Y-Wing or a Falcon. Doing a clustered mob around a Y-Wing is almost guaranteeing easy damage, and it opens up some interesting possibilities for TIE Advanced forces with multiple assault missile loadouts.

Might also force me to reconsider my initial dislike for A-Wings, which are a potentially lethal threat to a TIE swarm of any kind with these things loaded – getting the hit is still a little tricky unless you can manage a focus at the same time as your shot, but if you get it, the effect on all those unshielded hulls will be awful.

I think the best thing about Slave 1 is the rear arc … that made all the difference in the final game at the Kessel Run tournament I was in.

How big is the flight base for the Slave I?

Slave 1 and MF base are 80mm x 80mm (twice the length/width of fighters)

I thought they might go with a mid-range base of 60mms, since the vessel is a lot smaller than the Falcon.
