Hello all,

I have been busy re-sorting out my Austrian army, here are the results. They are based up for General de Brigade, but will work fine with Lasalle and black powder too.

IR46.

There are loads more pictures etc on my blog, including my first completed division. Have a look here – link

Comments welcome, thanks

Nice-looking figures. I noticed you have sold your French, who are these troops going to fight?

Oh, ill be getting another French "allied" army this year too! Lesson learned there methinks, dont sell any of your stuff, cos you will probably regret it later!

Definitely. Especially painted stuff!

Will you use Adler again or the re-sculpted Baccus French?

Im going to stick with the Adler stuff, which i really like.

Not that i have anything against Baccus though, ive got thousands of them in other periods too.

Have the Baccus French been re-sculpted yet? I have been waiting ages. Switched to FPW while I waited.

Very nice Austrians. I really like the Adler sculpts. It was Adler Nappies that brought me into historical gaming all those years ago.

Very nice Yorkie, what size bases are you using?

Great figs. As it happens, after getting the Timecast Essling Granary, I've just pushed some Adler Austrian Uhlans up my 'yet to paint' list. But my head is still in 1812-1813 mode at the moment, so some Russians and some Confederation of the Rhine units are topping the list for now, and we have planned for an 1812 and 1813 game.
