I'm going to put up a Kickstarter for a new game. Haven't decided what period or scale what it will be but it will be really cool. Nothing designed but there will be mini's. Probably. I only need 200,000 gbp so its cheaper than Antares. However if it goes over that I'll design more stuff. So if you all go over to Kickstarter and start pledging that would be cool. Cheers :0) |

"Except that it's not 'generic si-fi' that we need, but a supported rule set to replace 40K
something with more reasonable prices and a nice range of miniatures that does not die off after a couple of years. Mantic had a chance and has failed IMHO. Warzone, VOR, AT-43, Cobalt-1, Void1.1, and many others have tried and failed. This will probably fail as well
" As Mantic hasn't published their sci-fi rules, I don't see how they've failed – they're getting close and working on the final playtest. If it's as good as Kings of War – which is making headway in this area – then I'd call it a success. Am awaiting developments as I push Kings of War, however, only so much time. The 82 page download of Warpath looks great, however. |
