I would appreciate some info on painting Italian colonial Libyan infantry from early WW2.

The uniforms would have been as standard Italian desert infantry I am assuming?

Id really appreciate any info on painting fez or what looks like turban colours?

from what i can remember from the relevant osprey, uniform is basically the same as for European troops. Armament and webbing tended to be Ww1 vintage often from captured Austrian kit.

The fez was maroon often with a white turban. Also a wide maroon cumerbund around the waist.

Highly recommended is the Concord book #6521 "Axis Forces in North Africa 1940-43" by Claudio Antonucci. Some great color plates of Italian Forces to include colonial troops.

thanks for the info guys, I am surprised by how difficult it is to find images online of Italian Colonial troops considering how many of them there were.
