Has any one had experience with these figures? I'm looking to use them with SAGA.

They are nice figures. I have made some up with Gripping Beast heads and weapons to use as mounted Anglo Saxons

sillypoint18 Dec 2012 12:42 p.m. PST

I second that recommendation.

They are fine for SAGA: accurate, well cast and very good value for money compared with the metal alternatives. One thing though, they are much lighter than metal figures and this makes them somewhat prone to being tipped over during a game. So if you plan to base them singly, e.g. on the bases supplied with the figures, then consider adding something like thin metal washers underneath the bases, to give them more stability. Someone I know has decided to put them on metal bases, but to me that seems to be taking things too far – just my opinion.

They have worked well for me, a little heavy on the armor mix so mostly knights since I use leather = warriors, chain = hearthguard.

Do the seam lines show?. How were they assembling? These will be my venture into plastics as all my others are lead.

I found assembly to be quite easy. The only issue I had as that the riders did not seem to have a tight fit on the horses. Still, all in all very good figures.

I have some and have had just the opposite experience with them tipping over. I find that the metal figures that you get, if you put them on the plastic bases tip over all of the time. The plastic pretty much resist falling over ever and if you do put metal bases on them will almost have to be pushed over to fall over.

hmm how did that get posted twice?
