I've dug out my old Micro Machines models to use as proxies until official minis are available so my forces have been boosted by another five Y and X wings, five B Wings, three A wings, eleven TIE fighters, three TIE interceptors, five TIE bombers, five shuttles, Slave 1 and the Falcon. The MM model of the X wing with the S foils folded makes a passable Z-95 (five of those). tats are available for all of those.

But I also have a few odds and sods that haven't been statted and I was wondering if anyone here with more experiencing had thought of anything for these ships? I'm looking at:

Star Courier / Sith Infiltrator
IG-2000 (imagining no red manoeuvres for this one unless carrying captives)
Virago

Any thoughts on these?

Not familiar with those.

I'd recommend looking up the Wookieepedia stats, and/or those from other games, and then doing a bit of interpolating to come up with them.

SBD for shields, and R.U. or RU for the hull armor.

There's a maneuverability acronym too, but can't recall for sure what that is. Something like DPRF.

MGLT for the maximum speed ratings.

For the Star Viper class (which was based on the Virago) Wookieepedia gives:

111 MGLT speed (same as a TIE Interceptor – given its agility too that looks a good dial to use.)
50 SBD shields (same as an X-Wing, so 2 shields)
35 RU hull (4 I guess – a Y-Wing with 40 gets 5, an X-Wing with 20 gets 3; if you say 8 RU = 1 hit, that would seem to fit.)

Armament is two dual laser cannons, so 4 barrels, 3 attack dice. Also has a pair of proton torpedo launchers with 3 shots each – similar to an X-Wing, so one torpedo card slot.

Defence is a tough one, but with the descriptions of it saying it was designed to "rival the TIE interceptor in speed and agility" I suspect it has to be 3 dice. It will definitely be a real monster though; probably worth 40 odd points….

In the background fluff it's noted that the class was a somewhat toned down Virago (less bells and whistles) so these are "bare minimum" – an extra shield counter for the Virago itself seems reasonable, as does some kind of ability on the card to reflect its flashy targeting computer; probably allow it to reroll at least one dice.

Dom.
