Hey guys
I ran into this project and it looks like Steel Crown Productions is making a game very similar to GW's abandoned Epic rules system.
I was creaming myself when I saw it, paid my tenner and been playing it to death ever since.
It's still quite buggy, mind you, but the developers have been really welcoming of feedback on the issues I found within (it is at the alpha stage, mind you!)
Looks really cool if you're into turn based strategy games.
Suss it out if you like

Exodus wars has been a 6mm sci-fi line for quite a while now. (they also have some 28mm figures of the troops).

This is just an attempt to build a strategy video game based on that property via crowd-sourcing funds and preorders.

If it results in a good TBS game, I don't care why they're doing it!

Looks similar to the old Epic Final Liberation computer game, which was turn-based. Still have the CD somewhere…

Final Liberation had the best cinematic cutscenes ever made for a PC game. I loved FL for as long as I had a machine that would run it.

FL will probably run on one of the PC emulators, like VMware. You can create an old image with an old version of Windows.

Its currently on the GOG wishlist. GOG release old games for purchase, usually with compatibility with the latest OS and often extra bits like soundtracks.

If it gets more votes it will be looked at.

so does this game play like final liberation or epic? from what I remember final liberation took some "liberties" with the epic rules…

thanks for any info:-)

It plays similar to E:A. They're developing the video game coterminously with the tabletop rules. It's worth the tiny cost they're asking for it.

" I was creaming myself"

Tmi…lol.

But I'm excited too.
