Yes, it's from the future because it's dated on December 22nd.

Now, if the Mayas were right, how we complain to the Nasa?
(big smile).

Hope you enjoy!.

Actually, since the Mayan's calendar didn't factor in leap years the world has already ended and we spend so much time on TMP we haven't realized it yet.

Quite a few charlatans are 'predicting' an apocalypse based on a flawed example of a stone Mayan calendar. The Mayans actually issued a hardware "patch" kit (1 x wooden mallet; 1 x stone chisel; 1 x palm leaf instruction booklet) so that users could make their own needed correction (as one of the glyphs was wrong) instead of returning their calendars to the manufacturer. (This was deemed the cheapest option in lieu of a recall, as the shipping charges would have been horrendous.) The upgraded calendars are conveniently 'overlooked' by those looking to make a quick buck. However, all of the Mayan calendars have another, quite dangerous, design flaw: If rear-ended, they explode like a Pinto….

As I tell my kids, the people making the Mayan calendar simply ran out of stone and stopped. It's as if someone a million years from now finds an old calendar and assumed we all thought the world would end because we didn't have a calendar that planned 'for the next year.'

I'm sure some Mayan bureaucrat thought, "Eh, by the time we need to come up with a new one, it will be someone else's problem to fix.' Unfortunately, their society ended and no new bureaucrat was there to come up with an order of stone for the next cycle.

So if I live in Australia and we are a day ahead of the Americas does that mean we all die earlier or will we escape the apocalypse cause it will be the 23rd when it happens? Lol

I don't think the hordes of rabid koala bears that will eat everybody in Australia will care anything about the date…. ;-)

Koala don't eat dates
