I was looking through some of my old stuff and came across an 8 figure set of Finieous Fingers (sp) 25mm figures. I remember the comic strip in Dragon magazine or some such mag. I was wondering, since they were made back in 1982, whether these have any value per a collectors standpoint? They had been primed at one time but I stripped them of the primer and now look brand new. I was thinking of just throwing them out on ebay and see what happens. Any sugestions? |

Ebay them, by all means. You'll probably get a few bites, and how much did they cost you originally? $5 even? Hard not to make a profit... |

Sorry to be a spoilsport, but if you're really thinking about hard profit, you should figure in inflation, compound interest etc. for the 20 years you've held them! That said, if you don't want them anymore, sell them. However, that does NOT mean it's generally a good idea to buy miniatures and hold them for 20 years as an investment. |

I am new to this group and haven't learned all the ins and outs of posting. What I am interested in right now is if anyone has ever made stats in the D&D Miniatures system (the old one, not the new garbage they introduced last year to make everything obsolete) for the Finieous Fingers figure set. Barring that, is there some URL at which I can find a summary of at least the names of each of the figs? My collection of Dragon and Adventure Gaming magazines is in storage and doesn't contain all the strips anyway. Thanks |

Jake, rather than dredging up this old thread that is only peripherally related to your question, you might want to start a new one on the fantasy boards. You're more likely to find an answer (no, I don't know) with a fresh thread that will show up on the front page. Presumably you mean D&D 3.x, not AD&D for the stats? You might want to specify that, also. Sorry I couldn't be more help. |
