Hi

Were Brunswick infantry of the SYW essentially uniformed in the same way and colours of the prussians?

Check this site: link

It appears that the answer is pretty much yes.

except for the cuffs, sort of.Getting a Prussian style musketeer with Swedish cuffs cannot be done at all easily.if at all.

And in case you care for the details, Brunswick NCO's seem to have carried halberds like the Austrians or Hanoverians, instead of the Prussian pikes

Thankyou for that. To extend the question. Does anyone make Brunswick figures in 28 mm or do people use Prussian infantry figs many thanks.

Minden Miniatures' Prussians wear the Swedish cuff.

Most people use Prussian figures for both Brunswick and Hesse Cassel armies.

I used Minden miniatures for my Brunswick army…

you people with your Mindens!!! yes they make excellent Brunswickers , though it is about time somebody did a more heroic scaled Prussian musketeer set with Swedish cuffs.I would buy 'em,
many of them, and make some stick on aigulettes at the same time as well..

I'm currently doing a Brunswick Army and using Crusader figures. I've cleaned up the cuffs and given the NCO's halberts as well.
The photos below are of my v. Zastrow Regiment. I painted them in a later war uniform so they could be used for Prz. Fredrick during the AWI. On my bench now are figures for the Imhoff regiment. This one I'm painting in earlier period uniform, just to break up all the white.
