I have seen a few comments the last few days, bemoaning the fact that some people play with their toys differently than they do. They ask "Why?" The proper answer is of course "Why not?" The notion that people have to justify their interests in a silly hobby disturbs me. But, I'll get over it. Will the bemoaners? Of course, the REAL answer is "Because they want to." Why is that your problem? |

In the varied branches of our hobby I would hazard a guess not too many people do things the same as others. Embrace it, be enriched by it, enjoy. |

I don't really think theres really a 'problem' here at all
'Storm in a teacup' don't even begin to describe how little of a problem there is
can you have a storm in an eggcup? |

and I thought this was a thread encouraging people to stop asking questions on a forum that take a book to answer. we could do with one of those. |

If you don't ask why then you'll never find out why their way is actually better than your own. I have no problem with why – fits in well with what, where when and how – I only have a problem with "you're doing it wrong". |
