I've re-organised, expanded and re-based one of my units of Spartans. More about them (and bigger, clickable photos) on my blog:-

They look very spectacular, are they Foundry?

snodipous11 Dec 2012 12:38 p.m. PST

They look great. Just 264 to go!

Thanks; yes all Foundry, and only 196 to go. ;-)

I've never heard Spartans being called "little flowers" before, Phil. Is that a euphemism!? Maybe if we say something nice about them, they'll go away without hitting anyone…

Lovely work, Simon.

I bet no one called them little flowers, twice!

Thanks all, Simon

Now your in my back yard! How are you going to handle the Cavalry? Don't forget "Gorgon Studios" they have some very nice Spartans. Al-ways enjoyable to see what your up too.

Hi Oldbob,

The Gorgon studios Spartans are very nice, I have some. They are earlier in period though. I prefer the grimmer, Peloponnesian War Spartans in pilos.

Here are the cavalry:-

In due course I'm going to need some more cavalry…

Simon; those are great looking, I have most of those mini's myself. I'm definitely into the classical period with my Spartans.

Great looking unit. I have a near finished Spartan army of Foundry figures. Black Tree mix in quite well if you need a bit of variety.

Thanks chaps.

EB, is an army ever finished? None of mine have ever been, they keep on expanding, like the universe, albeit much more slowly. ;-) I do have a few BTD in the other units, some are nice.

Cheers, Simon
