Having a little fun with leftover holiday baking compost, I made these out of baked and hardened Sugar Pumpkin stocks.

Sorry for the cruddy pics, but the lighting in the garage was not in good form that night.

Cool. I love stuff like this when well executed.

These are really cool. Great idea to use pumpkins stocks.

Ive got a bunch that I use as dead trees.

Great job. A really great effect and nice explaination.

Sad to read though that you used some 40k vehicle cards for the bases. There's folks out there that would like to have those!

Would work well for fantasy if you're going for something like Dark Souls Arch Trees as seen early on in here

Boy would they hate my terrain then. Lots of recycled GW card stock there.

I did think about them as fantasy terrain as well. Dragon bones, giant's remains, etc.

Pure genius…

Started working on another piece with several clustered together at an angle creating a sort of shelved overhang.

In the process of sculpting bug holes under the overhang.

Wait a minute! Didn't the Star Trek movie with Spock's half brother have some sort of shrine that looked like Eli's terrain?

Can't find any pics of that though.
