The first runs of Queen Victoria's Robot Wars Tesla cannon and crew sprues for your future empire and planet conquering pleasure.

For some reason the crew figure took me a very long time to suss out. Big rubber boots and gauntlets and those cool mutton choppy mustache things, a nod to Grandpa Potts in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang; in my opinion, the first real VSF documentary.

After doing several sketches of Tesla pistols based upon the Webley Mark VI , I came to the conclusion that the original had the best look and lines and would easily pack the kind of wallop to put down a robot or pesky native.

The other thing I had in mind is that, from this gun crew sprue, you can easily create a foot officer. They are also designed to swap arms with the Steel Dragoon – or you could even give one of the lads a robot arm!

I can't wait to get my hands on these & be able to mix & match the robot parts with the Napoleonic ones.

Good stuff man. The spanners are great.

Maksim- actually no, the wood is easy to paint. I thin the paint down a bit more than I would with a metal model, and sometimes add 50/50 water and future floor wax. with all the lines etched, its very easy to "stay in the lines".

Black Cavalier, Kickstarter rewards will start shipping out very soon. (and I know you are a backer!)
Cheers to all.

Great looking stuff. I could see these on a Christmas tree for a Christmas morning game amongst all the boxes and wrappings…

Lions Den- you betcha! There are wooden Soldiers (and medals) all over the tree!
Cheers and Cool Yule
