TMP link I looked at the Quick Preview available at the selling site. The techniques could easily be adapted to 54mmm scale buildings. I would substitute corrugated cardboard for the cork tiles, to save money, and to lighten them up. The techniques could easily be adapted to urban buildings as well (stone, cinder block). These are more detailed than what I usually do for buildings for Army Men games, but I thought I would share them for folks, here. For me, I usually spray cardboard boxes with gray primer, cut out windows, and doors, add bullet holes with a sharp pencil, hot glue in some upper floors, and make sure all edges (walls and floors) are unevenly cut, to simulate bombed out buildings. Then I call it done. They work, but they are super-basic. This material would allow me/you to take it to a much higher level. Cheers! |

Not so much for larger wargames but for RPGs and skirmish games I've been enjoying this series of videos on Youtube: YouTube link Relatively 2D compared to Matakishi's wonderful stuff, but fast, easy to make and very cheap
also very portable compared to more elaborate stuff I've made. |
