"Set in subterranean silos that house the remnants of humanity on a post apocalyptic Earth. Thousands of them have lived underground. They've lived there so long, there are only legends about people living anywhere else. Such a life requires rules. Strict rules. There are things that must not be discussed. Like going outside. Never mention you might like going outside. Or you'll get what you wish for" link I had not read the book. Anybody had reat it?. Would be a good movie? Thanks in advance for your guidance. I've read all of the Wool books I could find on my Kindle (you can get the whole collection for a pretty meager sum). I thought they were pretty interesting. Might make a good movie, although it is a little like "Sixth Sense" in that much of the impact comes from the surprises that pop up. Some of those I saw coming (but where pretty cool anyway) and some were definite gotchas. So if you'd read the books already I'm not sure that the movie would have a huge amount to offer that hasn't been done. The undergraound visuals and such have been done before. |

Amtrack Wars and 12 Monkeys had same scenario (though treated very differently). Why "Wool"? As an Australian, seriously, it makes you think sheep. Cheers, JohnG |
