Here's my most recent terrain creation, an abandoned distillery converted from a 4th of July decoration. Just one in a whole line of projects the club is working on for our upcoming Post-Apoc campaign.
Full how-to and lots more detail pics here: link |

That looks great. The skill with these conversions is seeing the possibility in the original item. You have that ability and then some. Great job. We're you able to convert the base into something? Matthew |

That is great, and I have passed that building up at the swap meet a couple of times because I didn't see what I could do with it. I won't pass it up again if the chance comes my way. Thanks for posting. Richard |

Great, great use of found terrain. I'll look differently at those holiday decorations that beforehand seemed outscale. (Yes, the idea of a 40K player saying 'outscale' is silly, but still. ) |

Thanks for the kind words folks. This was a really fun piece to build. 45thdiv, I had plans to turn the base into a defensive position, but once I canibalized a few of the fences (which only coverd 3 sides anyway) to make the loading dock and took a good look at the thing it didn't seem worth it to make it into it's own piece. I still have it though and it might end up as the base for a couple of old style 40k ruins
